Meet Your Trainers

Jeremy Alter, PT, CSCS

Jeremy is a graduate of the New York University School of Physical Therapy, and is currently working towards his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy degree at the University of Maryland- Baltimore.  Jeremy is also a National Strength and Conditioning Association, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is currently working on a Sports Therapy certification in conjunction with the North American Sports Medicine Institute and the University of St. Augustine.

Before joining the team at LifeBridge Health and Fitness, Jeremy spent several years gaining experience in New York.  He has worked at Westside Sports Physical Therapy, the Center for Sports and Osteopathic Medicine, and the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma. He also has extensive experience in personal training including work with varsity football.

Jeremy is married to Shana, a native of Baltimore, and finds the challenge of living in a mixed marriage of an Orioles fan and a Yankees fan exhilarating. They recently moved to Baltimore, and are adoptive parents to 3 rescue cats: Clinton, Tigger and Jelly. Jeremy was a high school swimmer and still enjoys a variety of recreational sports.

As a member of the Sports Performance Team at LifeBridge Health and Fitness, Jeremy’s pre-participation screening helps establish each athlete’s individual needs. Through strength, flexibility, balance/ proprioception, speed, agility assessments, musculoskeletal and biomechanical movement strategies determine the individual needs of each athlete.  Each age group the team works with receives a developmentally appropriate, innovative, challenging and effective training program geared toward maximizing the performance potential of each athlete.
