Meet Your Trainers

Susan Simpson, CPT

Susan comes to LifeBridge Health and Fitness after serving 6 years in the Navy as a Cryptologic Maintenance Technician and working 14 years for the Baltimore Sun as a Network Analyst.  Since switching gears to work in a field she has a passion for, Susan has become an American College of Sports Medicine, Certified Personal Trainer. Susan is also currently working towards her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science at Towson University and her Certified Conditioning Specialist certification through the National Strength Professionals Association.

Susan is an avid runner who has qualified for, and finished the world’s oldest marathon, considered the pinnacle event in road racing, the Boston Marathon. Susan has also finished 5 other marathons, including 2 local; the Marine Corps and the Baltimore.  She has shared her love of running by coaching Girls on the Run, an education/exercise based curriculum for girls in grade 3-5 that culminates in a 5k run/walk event.  She has also coached Avon Women's running program to train first-time runners for the Avon Women's Race.

Susan has been a member of the LifeBridge Health and Fitness team for nearly 2 years.  She is a Fitness Advisor and Personal Trainer as well as a Sports Performance Coach.  Susan played softball in high school and cross-country and softball in the Navy.  She continues to run and play softball in her free time.
